Restaurant menu board install

Digital menu board installation for restaurants

A row of menu screens is unforgiving. If one panel sits a few millimeters lower than the next, every customer in line sees it. Our crews mount, level, wire and configure menu boards before you open or after you close, and the menu is on the screens before they leave.

From $2,950 per screen, installed · (347) 410-6890

Gourmet Deli. Five screens in one level row over the counter.

What happens on install day

  1. SurveyPhotos or a site visit: wall type, outlet locations, network drop, ceiling height, sightline from the back of the queue.
  2. MountWall, menu or tilt mounts, leveled across the whole row. One-person crew up to 55-inch, two-person from 65-inch up.
  3. WirePower and HDMI hidden behind the screens. CrownTV player mounted out of sight.
  4. LoadMenu already built in the Dashboard, so screens show the real menu the moment they power on.
  5. TrainA walkthrough with the manager on changing a price and scheduling a daypart.

Typical lead time: 5 to 7 business days from paid invoice, sooner on request.

Sizing the row

43-inch is the size we install most for counters. Pressed Juicery picked 43s deliberately: 55s would have crowded the average counter, and 32s would have been unreadable from the back of a lunch line. Five 43-inch screens in a horizontal row covers juices, smoothies, bowls, soft serve and wellness shots in one glance.

Go 50 or 55-inch when the counter is deep and the line forms far back from it. Go 32-inch only for a single board at a pickup shelf or a small café.

Install mistakes we fix most often

Consumer TVs above the fryer. A living-room TV isn't built for 14 hours a day of heat and grease, and its warranty excludes commercial use. A 500-nit commercial screen costs more up front and is still cheaper than replacing a TV twice.

No network drop. The wall has power but no ethernet. Discovering that on install day can add $300 to $1,500 per screen.

Mounted too high. Screens jammed against the ceiling make the back row of the queue read up at a steep angle. We set height from the queue line, not the ceiling.

Menu designed for paper. A printed menu shrunk onto a screen is unreadable. Custom menu design is $575 with 3 revisions, or bring your own designer and we'll send the exact pixel sizes.

Common questions

Menu board installation questions

What does digital menu board installation cost?

With us, installation is inside the per-screen price: $2,950 for a 32-inch up to $5,850 for an 85-inch, including the display, mount, media player, install and year-one software. If you supply your own screens, standalone install for a simple wall mount typically runs $100 to $300 per board, and a 3 to 6 panel cluster $400 to $1,200.

Do you offer digital menu board installation near me?

Yes, anywhere in the US: CrownTV's insured crews install menu boards in all 50 states, our own team handles New York City restaurants, and most single-location installs happen 5 to 7 business days after the paid invoice, scheduled before you open or after you close. Send a photo of the wall and the counter width and we'll quote it within 2 business hours.

Do I need an electrician?

Only if there's no outlet where the screen goes. Each screen needs a standard power outlet at its location. Our crew makes the clean connection and hides the cable, but we don't run new high-voltage circuits.

Do the screens need internet?

Yes, for updates. Ethernet is best; Wi-Fi works. The CrownTV player caches content, so if the connection drops mid-lunch the menu keeps playing. Find out where the network drop is before install day, because adding one late can cost $300 to $1,500 per screen.

Will you close my restaurant to install?

No. We schedule before open or after close. A row of three to five screens is normally a single visit.

Can you install screens I already bought?

Yes, install-only is available. If they're consumer TVs, we'll tell you up front: they aren't rated for a 14-hour kitchen day, and the warranty doesn't cover commercial use.
