QSR and fast casual, multi-unit
QSR digital menu boards for multi-unit chains
With one store, a menu board is a screen. With 30 stores, it's a publishing system. Pressed Juicery is our template for this: the same five 43-inch screens above every counter, each one a separate content zone, and a price change that hits every store the moment the brand team hits publish.

What a chain pays, by size
| Chain size | Year-one range | What changes at this size |
|---|---|---|
| 1 location, 3 screens | $4,500 to $13,000 | Our turnkey price for three 43-inch screens is $9,450 |
| 10 locations, 30 screens | $35,000 to $95,000 | Hardware and software about 15 to 25% cheaper per screen |
| 50+ locations, 200+ screens | Custom | Hardware 30 to 40% cheaper per screen; logistics becomes the big line |
Market ranges from CrownTV's 2026 menu board cost breakdown. Install logistics and content production don't get cheaper per store the way hardware does.
Decisions to make before store one
One kit per format. Pressed Juicery's standard stores all get five 43-inch landscape screens in a horizontal row. The Penn Station Moynihan location got its own build: a 3,500-nit double-sided OM55B in a custom birch kiosk. Two formats, two specs, both locked before install.
Zones, not slideshows. Each of the five screens is its own content target. Updating one zone takes seconds; re-rendering a whole wall takes minutes and risks a mismatch mid-lunch.
Templates first. Our one regret on Pressed Juicery: the content templates were settled with the brand team during the first quarter instead of before rollout. Do it first and the early stores launch faster.
Dayparts. Breakfast, lunch and late-night menus scheduled once, centrally. Anything without daypart scheduling is a slideshow, not a menu board system.

How a QSR rollout runs
Scope call and a quote in 2 business hours. Screens and CrownTV players shipped to each unit labeled for its wall. Local insured crews in all 50 states install before open or after close. The Dashboard is set up before the crew arrives, so each store goes live the day it's installed, and managers get a walkthrough on site. After launch, monitoring flags a dark screen before the store calls, and a failed player is swapped within 48 hours under a managed contract.
Single-unit prices and add-ons are on the pricing page. Got a drive-thru at some units? Each lane is surveyed and quoted separately. CrownTV's restaurant industry overview has more on the software side.
Common questions
QSR rollout questions
What do QSR digital menu boards cost across 10 locations?
Budget roughly $35,000 to $95,000 in year one for 10 locations with 30 screens, depending on screen size, design and how much POS integration you want. Hardware and software drop about 15 to 25% per screen at that volume. Install logistics don't drop much.
Should every location get the same screens?
Yes, per format. Pressed Juicery runs the same five 43-inch screens in every store, which means one install playbook, one spare-parts list and one set of templates. Flagships and kiosks get their own spec.
Can franchisees change their own prices?
If you allow it. The Dashboard has role-based permissions, so a franchisee can edit their location's prices and local promos while corporate controls the brand menu and LTO calendar.
How fast do menu changes go out?
Seconds. When the brand team publishes, every store updates at once. Pressed Juicery went from a print vendor and a per-store rollout window to a publish button.
What about 50+ locations?
Custom pricing. At that scale hardware can drop 30 to 40% per screen, and the bigger budget items become install scheduling and rollout coordination, which is the part we run for you.
